Incoming Verification: Why PI's should offer this specialized service

SPI member Anthony Luizzo, CFE, CST, PI (Ret. NYPD) and Phil Luizzo of Vault Verify published an article in the April issue of PI Magazine on a service that PI firms don't offer very often: Handling incoming verification requests for current and previous employees. This function is almost always performed by internal HR or management personnel. The authors explain why it’s important to offering, and/or partnering with firms that offer this specialized service and help diminish corporate liability.
